Lancaster House is a care home registered with the Care Quality Commission and has a duty to comply with the new Fundamental Standards of Quality and Safety.
We offer residential, mental health and dementia care to people over 18 years in a safe and homely environment. Our dedicated and trained staff teams provide the highest standards of care, comfort and support to enhance residents’ quality of life.
Each new person entering our care home has a full assessment prior to admission to ensure that their specific needs can be met. On admission comprehensive risk assessments are documented to ensure that any areas of vulnerability are identified and addressed. People entering Lancaster House have the right to choose what risks they wish to take; we offer advice but respect autonomy.

Through a person-centred approach to care, we ensure the social, physical and emotional needs of the residents are met. We actively engage with the people we support and their relatives, encouraging regular feedback and making sure all of our residents are as independent, comfortable and happy as possible.
We are committed to high standards of End of Life Care and with the use of the North West Model and Five priorities of care we follow best practice guidelines.
